-Mathematics, Applied Mathematics or Statistics -Engineering (any engineering, 1st (4) semesters are similar curriculum for all types with heavy mathematics/calculus-based physics focus. -Meteorology or Astrophysics or Physics -Chemistry (especially Physical Chemistry) or Biostatistics -Computer Science
*Applicants to the MSE graduate programs are expected to have a strong academic background in computer science.
*A bachelor’s level degree, ideally in Engineering, Mathematics, and Sciences. *Candidates should ideally have completed undergraduate-level courses in Calculus, through multivariable calculus, Linear algebra, Differential equations, Probability and statistics, Microeconomics and macroeconomics*, Computer programming (e.g., in C++), At least two proof-writing courses.
